About 1-2 times a week, we get "healthy" breakfast. The great thing about healthy breakfast is that no one likes it, yet it's the most common feedback when they send out surveys about what we want for food.
"Give us healthier options!" - aspirational survey respondents
"Ew, we hate healthy food!" - actual breakfast eaters
Today's healthy menu included:
- Grapefruit brulee (served with maraschino cherries on top)
- Lowfat cottage cheese
- "Fluffy" egg whites with and without cheese (let's be clear, egg whites can never be fluffy on their own)
- Pork sausage
- Turkey sausage
You can always tell when it's healthy day because most of breakfast is left at 11 AM. Also, people look at the breakfast, disappear, and then reappear with McDonald's.
The only one benefitting from this is me, saving cottage cheese and greek yogurt from their fate of getting thrown away otherwise. I'm there for you, dairy.
